Founded on the principles of modern hair design, the Academy of Hair Design is a destination school for students looking to enter the field of hair.

From learning cosmetology skills to passing state boards, to practicing and perfecting the craft, the Academy Team is world-class. The curriculum is challenging, but for students committed to success and creative expression, the Academy programs are on par with programs in New York City, Los Angeles and London.

The Academy of Hair Design was born out of a necessity to provide beginning hair designers with the skills necessary to begin their career and to be successful as a professional hair designer.

As the owners of a respected salon chain, Duncan Bros. Salon, we realized the need for better, more comprehensive training at the beginning levels. We developed an in-salon educational program that required every new staff member to attend and pass as a qualification to perform services on salon clients.

Our program has been extremely successful. However, the salon staffing requirements have grown to a point that it is no longer practical or productive to continue basic training in the salon.

Now, with years of experience in successfully developing hair designers with profitable careers, we invite you to share in our experience. Come learn with us.
