Sally

Oklahoma City’s Academy of Hair Design names Sally Rogerson creative director - former Vidal Sassoon Academy instructor and platform artist to lead technical and creative director for students and staff.

Students at Oklahoma City’s Academy of Hair Design get a world-class education in cut, color and style and the Academy is now raising their collective creative bar a step higher with the addition of Sally Rogerson, to her years at the Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, to her runway and stage presentations and work in television and films, Rogerson brings to the Academy years of experience and technical knowledge. Her role is to oversee the entire course of education for both beginning hair students and for advanced hair professionals looking to perfect their skills.

Laura

Laura has worked for the company for seven years. She began as a part time receptionist at Duncan Brothers Salon; she soon became the full-time salon coordinator. She provided excellent customer service to clients and stylists alike. Because of her customer service expertise, she was asked to become the Admissions Director at the Academy of Hair Design.

Lauren

Lauren has been in the industry for 7 years. She began as a receptionist, and then became a stylist at Duncan Brothers Salon. After being a stylist, she pursued teaching, and became an instructor at The Academy of Hair Design. Her experiences have allowed her to be well-rounded member of the team. She received both her Basic Cosmetology and Master Instructor’s licenses from The Academy. She also has Sassoon and S.R. Education training. She is now the Financial Aid Director. She is dedicated to sharing her artistic approach to hair along with her financial aid knowledge to the students of The Academy of Hair Design.

Tara

Tara was a student in our basic program, where she learned the foundations of hair design. Upon completion of the basic program she received a scholarship to receive her Master Instructor license. Tara is now the school's front desk coordinator, and a valuable member of The Academy's team. Tara is still pursuing additional training, and hopes to be an instructor at The Academy in the near future.

Joe T

Joe has been in the hair industry for over 25 years. He has taught at the Academy of Hair Design since the school opened. Joe’s passion for teaching is unmistakable and it shows in the caliber of students that graduate from the Academy. His students are prepared to enter a salon and work at a professional level. Joe believes that continued education is the key to staying on top of new trends. He has taken numerous classes with Sassoon, S.R. Education and Toni&Guy. Joe has a vast knowledge in cutting, coloring and barbering.

Jake

Jake has been in the industry for four years. After receiving his Basic Cosmetology license from the Academy of Hair Design, he knew he wanted to be an instructor. Teaching has allowed him to not only hone his precise cutting and coloring skills but has allowed him to invest into the lives of the next generation of stylists. Jake believes that continuing education is the lifeblood of a successful career. He has taken advanced classes from Sassoon and S.R. Education.

Travis

Travis attended the Academy of Hair Design. He had a great experience and was inspired by the creativity and knowledge of the instructors. After working in a salon for a short period of time, he returned to the Academy for additional education and pursued his Instructor’s license. He then began working at Trichology Salon where he continued receiving advanced education at the Academy and the Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. With his knowledge and expertise he became the Manager and Educational Director at Trichology. His wonderful experiences have allowed him to inspire the students of the Academy. He cannot think of anything better than being able to help students discover their passion and help to lead them into a new and exciting career.

Justin

Once Justin completed high school he enrolled at The Academy of Hair Design. After completing the course, he immediately jumped into the Instructors Program and he hasn’t looked back since. Justin is having the time of his life, teaching the new students. He has received training from Sassoon and S.R. Education. He also enjoys working with the Amazing team at the Academy.
